Aloha!

LINEAL DESCENDANTSThe heiau in Pualani Estates is a wahi kapu or sacred place, in the midst of the housing development. You may have noticed the ongoing planting and signage changes and landscape maintenance there.

The hui responsible for the care and preservation of heiau Keaukukui'ula is seeking descendants whose ohana have a connection to the heiau. Our mission is to honor the lineal descendants and the ohana's history. We are always hoping to learn more of the history and traditions related to the heiau.

If you know of anyone who has a family connection to the heiau - or if you think your ohana may have been related to the heiau activities or history, please contact us so we can honor them and include them in our growing understanding of the heiau.

Mahalo for helping us in this research.
